6 inch thin kitchen tiles.
What is the recommended way to butt half-cut tiles up to a 6mm tile edge trim?
No matter how I try, the cut edge of my half tile does not match the engineered for straightness.
So, I end up with the join between cut edge and tile trim looking ragged. Will grouting make this look better? Or should I flip the half tile round and butt the engineered straight side against the tile trim? Of course, this then means an inconsistent grout joint lower down.

Thanks
Mike

I use a tile file to smooth and straighten the edge. Not being a pro and not having the £££ to spend on a grinder I will only use occasionally.

Don't turn the tile around - leave the cut edge at the edge where it should be.
