had my boiler for about 8 yrs, turned the heating on this evening. coughed and spluttered. bit of steam and packed up. pumps working fine . but no hot water or central heating. checked other posts about the over heating problem. had that in the past, but have soldiered on. bit the dust tonight. tryed all the resets etc .no joy. any tips as to what it might be? work as a general builder. so do most things was hoping maybe i could manage this myself any tips???
