Have you thought of using External grade paint in the Bathroom?
A bot of lateral thinking here, as the bathroom is often damp and humid, why not try external grade paint, when next re-decorating the bathroom? I've tried it and it works a treat. It may cost a little more, but will only need to re-paint it very rarely in the future!
