Just wondering how others would calc this...

Room is kitchen/diner and has an extension being put on the back, all open plan with bifold doors to most of back wall.

There's 2 different spaces above in that existing area (3.5m x 5.5 x 2.4m) has a heated room above; and the extension area (1.35m x 5.5m x 2.4m) has a pitched roof above it that will be insulated to 300mm rock wall.

The bifold doors are 4m wide by 2m high.
3 external cavity walls and concrete floor.

I did it as 2 separate areas and totalled the btu's, but that was with having to specify a window type between the 2 spaces where there isn't one!

I got 11,275btu using Bestheating calculator.

Cheers for any input.

D.
