You see no one on here has ever said why it could not be done

We have a fiat currency so yes money can just be created.

The problem is that the U.K. pound isn’t the global reserve currency so if we create endless amounts of money then that would devalue the pound and make imports more expensive.

America however can do it, in fact Biden almost certainly has been doing it.

However there is a lot more elasticity in the system that we could utilise….so your point does have some validity.
