HEATER TOWEL RAD ON A COMBI

Are there any special precuations that need to be taken when using a dual fuel heated towel rail on a combi system. The instructions say that when used on a closed system such as a combi it should be ensured there is sufficient space for expansion.

Wouldn't it be just the case that the pressure of the system rises when the electrically element is on. Is it just the manufacturer covering their a*ses.

Yes, but as joineryisahobbynotatrade has said, don't turn on the element if both valves are closed, because that would deprive the water of anywhere to expand into. This applies whether the system is a closed one or an open one.
