Thanks for the reply's. The existing boiler was a boulter bonus. The vent is on the HW side. does that mean when the CH is on there is no expansion? There is 1 heater without a trv so will this act as a bypass
Wasn't sure about converting to a sealed system as the CH rads are on 10mm that seems pretty old and have been advised against it as then may have leeks. Had two quotes for around £3500 to supply a 15-21 Grant external and alter the pipework but seems a bit steep or would that seem to be in the ball park?
