I have recently had the pressure dropping on the central heating system. Dropped from 1bar to zero in three days.
The Engineer restored pressure to 1.5bar via filling loop and asked me to monitor. Lost about .2 bar in first two days and then dropped to zero in about three days as before.
Engineer added Salamander leak sealer to system and restored cold pressure to 1.5 bar. 8 days later there has been no loss of pressure.
Would be very grateful for anyones experience as to how long this type of fix will last.
