Heating system timer danfoss 102E5

My central heating stystem is controlled by a Danfoss 102E5 Electronic Mini Programmer. The heting is not swithing off when the timer timings on the program are either off by their set timing modes or when I manualy swith the heating off. The electrical supply that feeds the timer & the pump when switched off turns the system. Any ideas. I think the Mini Programmer is faulty.

does the CH go off when you switch the prog to OFF (CH)
might be motorised valve sticking.
