Hi

Hope someone can advise me pls.

Leaking outside tap means leak inside in the utility, arranged to have that fixed early next week so that's all sorted really.

Problem is I need to go away this weekend and currently need to keep emptying the bucket catching the drip so wondered about turning my water off.

So question is, can I turn my water off AND leave my gas central heating running (baxi back boiler 1970's system) over the weekend as snow/ice is forecast and want to keep some background heat in the house while I am away while the house is empty.

Does the heating need the water to be on please to work?

Sorry for the daft question and any advice very gratefully received.

Many thanks

No problems, turn water off. I normally leave heating on constant and turn room stat quite low so it will come on if required!
