Hi folks,
I'm hoping somebody might be able to tell me what is going on with my central heating. I have a Worcester 28i.
It stopped working (just the heating no the hot water) a few weeks ago. After a couple of days and just before I called the plumber it started again, only it only clicks on once when I switch it on (I don't use the timer). It remains on till its reached it's temperature, then it stops completely, and won't come back on again no matter what the temperature falls to or what I do with the thermostat. Then I have to switch it off completely, and after a few hours it might work and do the same thing again.
I'm thinking that it might be a problem with the thermostat not reading the temperature correctly. Can anybody give me some pointers?
Many thanks,
Sam
