Worcester 28i Junior - Noise when Heating Temperature is turned up

Please Help

I have a Worcester Bosch 28i junior boiler. Our hot water works fine. Our heating works adequate if the temperature on the boiler is turned down. However if I turn the temperature of the boiler up on the boiler and the heating is on - then the whole boiler shakes violently and I have to switch it off as the noise is unbearable. if the temperature is turned down at the boiler I can use the thermostat and turn it right up and no noise, this only happens when I turn the temperature up from the dial on the boiler itself.

I have drained the system down a few times, cleaned the heat exchanger out, and power-flushed the system however I still have the same problem.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Your pump may be faulty.
The heat exchanger could be scaled up.
There is air in the system.
There is a blockage in the system
These are about all your options.
Incidentally, if the heat exchanger is scaled up, power flushing will not help. You will need to isolate the boiler and clean it with de-scaler. Or, change the heat exchanger.
