heatline s24 , HW but no CH

I have a Heatline S24 compact which gives me hot water on demand but does nothing when I turn on the heating. The pump is ok as it was relaced yesterday. Many thanks

are all external controls calling for heat?

The pump would never cause that problem as its used on both DHW and CH.

If all the controls are correct then it may be a jammed/faulty diverter valve motor.

Or possibly a failed CH sensor. Easy to measure both sensor resistances with the boiler cold.

Does the heating work at all or does it just take forever and a day to come through but the boiler seems to be running flat out?

Thanks for replys, heating does not come on at all and i dont know what you mean by calling for heat.

"Calling for heat" is a trade term used for the situation where the timeclock and room stat are all in the "on" position so that a signal is given to the boiler to switch on !

I have no room stat but the switch on the clock on the boiler is in the allways on position as is the dial next to the clock.
