heatmaster 35 TC

Hi all.
A friend has been advised to install a Heatmaster 35 TC in his big shop to provide both CH and HW. He has been told that it can deliver a constant temperature of 60 degrees and since he produces sauces that would satisfy his needs.Apparently it is very pricy(£ 2600). Is there a better alternative than that and of course if it is cheaper the better. Thank u.

You could get similar performance overall from a 33-5kW boiler and unvented HW cylinder, or thermal store, which wouldn't necessarily cost very much different as the ACV is a a single unit to install.
You have to do a careful comparison of flow rates and reheat times, electric backup, pressure requirements etc.
The ACV is regarded highly by those who know more about it than I do. There are one or two fanatics on Screwfix.com's forum - do a search and try the question there, but take what an impractical theoretician who calls himself 'water systems' says, with a pinch of salt.
