i have done quit a bit of electrical work, but i can't find my book ... so please help!
i am removing an old pull chain (white/black wires) from above a kitchen sink.
i am running track so i can install 1) a gfci outlet and 2) a switch for my new ceiling fixture.
i thought the hot wires (white/back from old pull chain fixture should feed the switch and the gfci outlet. then pigtails feed the (black/white wires back to the new ceiling fixture) .. but i must be doing something wrong ...
can you help me! thanks so much....
