Help! Extractor fan constantly running

I am having some trouble with the ceiling mounted Vent Axia Lo Carbon Silhouette extractor fan in my bathroom. This normally turns on/off with the light switch but has been running continuously for the past couple of days, both of the blue lights are continuously on also (pic attached). There is an override switch outside the bathroom which does turn the fan off but as soon as you put this switch back on the blue lights instantly reappear and it starts up again even without the bathroom light being on. Any ideas on how to get this running as normal again i.e. only coming on with the light switch? Should also mention that this has a built in humidistat so not sure if this is contributing to the issue?

Did it used to run on for a while after the light was switched off?

Hi, yes this used to run for 10/15 mins after the light was switched off

Then I would assume the timer or humidistat has become faulty.

I think it is 12V so the wiring will be above (in the loft?). Is that the case?

Does this mean the entire unit would need replacing? We don’t have access to a loft space as there is another flat above us

Ok. Can you take off the front - usually it just unclips - and post a picture?

Thanks for the advice. Vacuumed and wiped down the fan last night just incase there was any debris interfering with the humidity sensor, woke up this morning and it had turned off so that seemed to do the trick. It is also considerably less humid today according to the weather forecast so the fan could’ve just been working as intended all along
