Help, forgot mdf primer!

I just installed some window sills made of mdf, but i forgot to use mdf primer , i have used gloss and its now soaking into the wood,

have i just ruined them?
will it dry out?
can i primer over the top of the dried paint?

chris, hey chill out, no probs the MDF is just having a drink of paint, soaking it up and going ah!. yeh wait for it to dry, give the board a good rub down with sandpaper,brush off wipe with a damp cloth,undercoat and gloss - beautiful - job done

thats great news! thanks eddie. Taken me ages to cut, plane, and sand them so i'm very relieved.
