MDF Priming gone wrong

Hi,

I made a unit using 18mm MDF. I primed some of it (I ran out of the Dulux MDF primer I was using!) using this stuff:

Some of the surfaces are now very rough. What are my options to salvage it?

I have sanded MDF in the past and it's went furry. Is there anything I can do here to get a smooth finish?

You will need a very fine sandpaper to rub down, a coarse paper will make it worse.
Short bristle roller is best for flat finish.

Will I need to prime it again after rubbing it down or can I go put Satin wood on it?

It's had 2 coats of the primer.

Should be ok to paint assuming you don't sand thru the current.
