Hi all, Wondering if anybody can help me in identifying this which seems to spread in my flower beds. I try to get most of this off, but seems to cover the flower bed in no time at all, and also been spreading into pots, and onto the lawn! Any help would be gratefully appreciated!.. Is this a weed??

Think it's a type of foliose lichen. Drives me mad too, paticularly bad on potted plants left too long before being planted out!. Only way I've found is to keep pulling it out carefully and putting in the bin - not for composting - in order to halt its spread. It's always worse when I've neglected it!

Cheers everyone..

Will do a bit of reading up on it now :D

and now to try and rid myself of them
