Hello all
A few months back I gave my black CRV a scrape at the edge of one of the front panels. Let's call it a nasty nick. I can't afford to get the thing properly repaired/panel beaten. I just want to seal it/fill it so it doesn't get any worse (of course it has deteriorated already due to my negligence...). I'm not planning on selling anytime soon, so it doesn't need to look like a million bucks.

I don't have the expertise to get the panel off to re-shape it, and hope the rust has not spread too far behind the panel. Is there a filler/sealer product that you guys would recommend for this kind of damage? Do I need to sand/grind the damage first? Someone told me there was a filler that will stabilize rust damage - though this seems a little far-fetched...
Any help gratefully received, I am an incredibly un-handy person!!
