hey people
I have just fitted a brand new toilet with a push button flush. But you press the button and 5 times out of 10 after the flush water continues to drain into the bowl, ive take it off and checked for anything loose but I can not see anything. Is there something I should adjust or a fix for this leaking.

It just seems to not seal after flushing and continues to fill but never fills as its draining into the bowl!

HELP!

Thanks ;)

Make / model ?
Is there anything getting in the way of the flush flap washer?
or a fault in the rubber of the flap
or a bit of poorly trimmed plastic on the seat where the flap seals against

The make and model. Well its a toilet in a box from Focus Do it All, comes complete in a box with all the bits.

Nothing blocking the flush flap, rubber seems fine
I shall have to check the plastic seating but it looked OK. :D :?:

Any more ideas?

Is it ok when the lid is off?
If so adjust the flush button as may be holding it open

Seems to not work either when the lid is off or on.

Ive adjusted every setting possible on this toilet. :?:

I have been in this position once or twice and ended up getting a new valve from where it was purchased , you cant see anything obviously wrong but the new ones work !
