Help needed with foxsat pvr

I have had the foxsat for several months now with a 1tb iomega HDD attched. All worked fine until today. Although I can see the programs on USB HDD they will no longer play. When I press play foxsat goes int reboot mode. I have checked by connecting a usb flash drive and that works perfectly. Anyone any ideas ? Could the iomega HDD be faulty. Any help or any checks I could make greatly appreciated.
