New Worcester boiler fitted in January and after about 3 weeks the pressure had risen and the upstairs rads need bleeding. Have now had to do this 3 times. Some of the origonal pipework was 8mm(?) and they have simply inserted and soldered this straight into 10mm(?) pipe in places without using connectors. Could this be the problem

The plumbers who installed it although Corgi registered where less than impressive. I had a leak on a shower mixer which they did not come back to fix and on a recessed shower fitted a push fit connector within the stud wall which seems a bit crap(whick i changed to soldered myself). For the electrical supply for the boiler they also just put a plug on it and plugged it into a ring main.

Is any of this normal should i report them(they have had their money unfortuanately)

make sure the filling loop is disconnected or if inbuilt not passing

as for putting a plug on the boiler supply its normal unless you specified otherwise

HI

pressure rising and bleeding rads are diferrent issues.
ring CORGI to find out whether the installer is registered
many only pretend

They had Corgi logos on their van etc.

I bled them last night and have just done so again today and no air came out of them so it is obviously a slowish problem

I did notice that some of the threaded valves that are on the opposite side to the bleed valve(Purmo rads) were quite loose. Not leaking water loose but i could get nearly a 3/4 turn with an adjustable on one of them and a half turn on a couple more.

Could this be the problem?
