I'm looking to buy a victorian terrace, which currently has no shower (just a bath) and no central heating. If i acquire I'm looking to install central heating and a power shower but am not too clued up on these things. Can anyone help as to any special considerations I need to make for this to happen, estimated time frame to complete and any idea as to how much it might cost - ball park figure. Any help would be very much appreciated.
The house is a two bedroom and I estimate I would want approx 4/5 radiators.
I also have gas fires, which I can't imagine I would want after getting central heating - are these easy to remove/shut down?
Many thanks in anticipation.

You would be better off ringing a few companys and getting some quotes, maybe get a combi installed by a corgi registered engineer, also keep the fires maybe replace with new ones as they are excellent focal points.

as for the figures it all depends on well, just how much you want to spend.
