Apologies if the answer is obvious but I haven't got a clue.

Have had no water since last night due to burst pipe in the street. Heating was on when water went off and was fine until I turned it off at bedtime.

Got up this morning and can't get heating back on. Boiler (Vailliant Eco tech plus) is showing F75.

Are the two connected or is this a separate issue.......?

F75 is no pressure rise detected on activation of the pump, or some similar words. Is your boiler mounted in an unheated space somewhere? Have you tried resetting it? What is the pressure gauge reading? It could be due to there not being any water in it but I don't think that's likely as the pump isn't directly connected to the hot water side

I've had F75 before and it usually kicks back in when I re-set it but its not happening this time. That's why I wondered if it was anything to do with the water being off.

Just wanted to check before I call someone out only to be told its because there is no water

Could you answer my questions in my last reply - might be able to help more. Also, has the pump sounded noisier than usual recently?

Boiler is in the kitchen, pressure gauge is reading halfway in the grey area. Didn't notice any out of the ordinary sounds when it was on last night.

I've tried turning the valves at the bottom and when I've done this before the pressure needle changes but this time its not moving at all.

How into DIY are you? If you're happy you could remove the casing to access the pump, then (with plenty of rags to hand) remove the pump bleed screw and look to see if the pump is spinning when you make a demand for heating.

No good with plumbing...! Have had to call someone.

Will watch what he does so that I know next time.

Thanks for all your help though. :)
