Hi

I want to get a 2foot punchbag for my bedroom. I have a modern-ish house (about 20 years old) and im not sure how this or strong the roof beams are. Is there any was i can spread the load across a few beams to reduce the stress on one, and is there any special types of screws with nuts and washers that i should be using? Also, would it be better to get a 3 foot punchbag as although it may be a bit heavier, it may not rock around as much when i train with it?

Thanks in advance!

If you are just punching then the above will suffice but if you are kicking it you make want to protect the ceiling around it.
