it has a valve on one side but nothing on the other
and i want to take this out to do the floor but dont want to shut down
all of the house can i do this or if i do will water come out the side
with no valve on it from all the others in the house

We are in the UK ! Thats London where we have Tony Blair !

If that system was in the UK then it would be a one pipe.

Why not call a pro?

Tony

Ignore Agile he is our equivalant of G Bush.
The polite answer is yes even if you turn off the valve the water will come out the other side . So you will have to drain it all .

If you dont wat to drain you could freeze the pipe without a valve and stick a valve on it

If you want to take your rad out for the day, how about: Mike Carmichael's 'World's largest ball of paint' or The Giant lady's Leg sundial at Lake Village or maybe the R.V. Hall of fame at Elkhart.

Just stumbled across this one.
Agile, you have obviously never heard the maxim

"If you can not say anything useful, it's best to say nothing at all"
