A friend has a Eurosec alarm box and he had a battery low power light on the board. He replace the battery and guess what? The low power light is still on.

Any ideas for which I would be grateful?
 
Check the inline battery fuse and the condition of the spring inside it.

If you can , measure the voltage at the end of the battery leads , with the battery disconnected, should be about 13.65v dc.
 
Thank you Denford. My friend told me this morning that it was the in-line fuse and you were spot on.
