Hi Folks.. Some help would REALLY be appreciated before I freeze to death!

The central heating went off earlier today... I flicked the electricity switch off to the mains, flicked it back on, and turned the thermostat back on in inside the cover and the heating came back on...

... Now its gone off again about an hour ago and I can't get it back on again. None of the lights underneath the thermostat are lighting up (Overheat/Boiler On/etc etc) and the pilot light doesn't appear to be lit.... and I just wondered if anyone had any tips for me as to what I can try before I call someone out and appear completely stupid as it was something really simple to fix

Thanks muchly

Is there power to the boiler?

Initially i would check your fused spur fuse (should be a red 3 amp fuse) for you central heating.
