Is anyone able to give an age on this pir please? Im trying to put an age on a loft conversion and have nothing to go off, but it does have this pir fitted, so may help me to put a rough age on it.

Pir ….i think made by ASD in Rotherham …late .1980s …..

It’s never been a aritech DR Series ….google talks crap

DR series looked like this ….i know because I fitted loads in the late eighties to early nineties , plus look at the video clip screenshot the aritech is in part 4

Seen one on eBay, but before my time wasnt doing alarms in 80’s 90s, certainly has the era look to it

Applied security designs is the name on the eBay listing I found image looks pretty mouth identical, recipes they have is for a Rotherham address, and that’s where the current asd lighting reside and looks like it changed names a few times, maybe someone can contact there team, on the eBay listing the paperwork has an 89 date!

ASD is still going on barbot hall ind est Rotherham , they used to have a shop on site but that was years ago , they where mainly security lights and lighting …i very much doubt if they know anything about that device ….

Yes the eBay claiming it’s new…..lol but could see part of the original invoice.
