Hi guys & gals, I hope you all had a very Merry Xmas
I have a problem that has occurred on this boiler, a Vaillant THERMOcompact ECOmax VU226E, fitted 7 years ago. Condensation generated between the exhaust pipe and the inlet flue pipe at the top of the boiler, is running down inside the back of the combustion chamber casing, and dripping out through the plastic blank in the bottom of the housing adjacent the condensate trap. This has been increasing over the past year or so such that it is now a d**n nuisance.
Any ideas a) why it should happen, and b) how to solve it?
A very Happy New Year to all our readers.
