HELP..why is my gas fire making a bubbling sound ??

it started a few months ago for the odd minute every few days and got worse it has just been doing it now for 10 mins constantly so ive turned it off. i have a video on my phone but i dont know how to post it.
i have no heating on etc .

When was it last serviced?

Might be a small leak on the supply from the tap to the burner catching alight and then lifting off and relighting constantly, a possibility although almost unheard of these days is water in the supplies, or a faulty burner.
Whatever the trouble you have done the right thing in turning it off, you need to get it checked out by a gas safe engineer as soon as possible.
 
Yes if we had a complaint of low pressure we would tell customers the tide was out, many times you could see the cogs working before they replied :wink:
 
Do you mean fire is doing it or its when the back boiler is on ?
