HELP !

Hi people - Due to faulty switches in my hallway I had to replace them but the wiring is VERY strange. One end has the feed (live wire) and also the switch wire (to the light fitting) but the other end only has a twin and earth. How can I wire the new switches without a 3 core wire ? Don`t I have to have strappers to make a way action - THANKS for your time GUY

this is fairly common in older houses

really this method should only be used if the lights are on the same cuircuit but it is not that unusual to see it done between cuircuits
