Can the spigot part of a Hep2O stem elbow be connected direct to a compression fitting?

I see there is a ridge, presumably to aid connection to another Hep2O fitting, but wondered if I could insert into a compression fitting instead?

Yes, it already has a sleeve fitted use a copper olive, do not use any paste
