Hiding Door Hinges

hi, i have replaced old wardrobe doors of a fitted wardrobe which is rather old . since the size fo the frame was not broad enough for me to put new hinges, i am stuck with the convestional hinges which show form the side of the doors.
any tips of how best to hide,conceal then .is putting a beading an option or would that block the door from opening/closing properly?
