I have an Ideal boiler and am using a Honeywell 927 thermostat , the problem I'm having is that I have the temperature set to 21.5 on thermostat but when that temp is reached it still continues going up and still shows the flame sign on 927 stat and the boiler is still going , how do I get it all to shut off at correct temp
Cheers

I would say its wired up right , the boiler repair guy has been here 3 times changing different part s so I would of presumed he must of wired it right , the thermostat is in the hall way and the boiler is at top of stairs , they are near to each other

Why is the parts changer there, how old is the boiler, is the 927 a new investment.

The part changer is from a company who we have a boiler contract with , the boiler is only about 2 yrs old , was working fine , then the pump went a few weeks ago , that got changed , then it started acting up , he has come back and changed the thermostat , receiver and the boards in the boiler also, the boiler is still going when the temperature on the stat has reached it's target, the stat also shows the flame icon even after reaching the target temp , it wasn't like this before

One most suspect it's something the PC has done in that case.

Is he registered and know what he's doing other than bumping the bill up.

I assume you mean the boiler stat and not the 927.

Yes he is a registered guy ,
The flame icon is on the 927 stat ,
The boiler shows that heat is still called for even after reaching the set temp on the 927 stat
