Honeywell HDE010E Dehumidifier - P1 Code

Hi

My domestic dehumidifier (9 months old) stopped working and is showing 'P1' in the digital display.

Does anyone know what this means?

I emailed Kaz, the warranty provider, and I have not yet received a reply

It appears that the P1 code means it is defrosting & should do this for brief periods only. If it continues it could be the filter needs cleaning. Failing that then it requires a service call or return to supplier.
