A Honeywell ST499A/ST699B Time controller/Progammer.

How do I get the front off/inside it ?

I think it must have been installed during the construction of the airing cupboard and access is very resticted.

It is driving me potty.

2 plastic tabs top and bottom left & right. Depress them in with small screwdriver and ease front forward, 699 at least

I can get to the two at the top, and the bottom right, but the bottom left is shielded by cable, trunking, and WOODWORK (sorry).

Once depressed, do the tabs stay down, or do they all have to be depressed together ?

If you can get the top 2 out You should be able to gently release the front.
