Hoover Heat Pump Dryer - Water Tank Full error

Looking for some help...

I've got a Hoover heat pumped tumble dryer (model: htdbwh7a1tce) which has developed a fault. It's stating the water tank is full and needs emptying ever few minutes despite it being empty. A quick Google search suggests its likely to be a water level switch or the pressure switch. Does anyone know a sure way to tell which has failed and how difficult is it to replace either/both parts? Our previous dryer was a White Knight which cost less than £200 and served us over 6 years. This Hoover is only 2 years old and was fairly expensive (£400+) so its a little disappoint how quickly its failed.

check if it has a float switch in the back normally the pumps go not pumping it to tray then the water rises and clicks the switch in reservoir Normally one screw in panel on back bottom on beko grundig etc

The water level sensor, might be as simple as a float, with a magnet, triggering a reed switch. Maybe the float is sticking?

That assumes you have checked the water tank is empty.

Check the reservoir if full it’s your pump 9 X out of 10 that was the fix
