Washing machine wouldn't pump out this morning ,so took it out side (advantages of having it the garage)opened the door to drain water out took pump to pieces and found a 20p piece jamming it , how does this find its way through ,have checked the seal and it looks alright.

It slipped between inner and outer drum - there is a gap. I sometimes find money lying on the gasket of our machine. Finders keepers, loser weepers.
