Hi,
My hot water is via a traditional boiler with a hot water cylinder and about a month a go the shower in the bathroom which feeds from the HWC started to run intermittently cold when first started in the morning. It later transpired that there was air stuck in there and we now have to taken the showerhead off for the air to come out where as before the air would just get pushed out when the shower was turned on. We have also found that we have to turn the thermostat up to about max(10) to get a reasonable temperature on the shower, where as before 5-6 would do. It is Triton shower.
We also find that the hot water pressure in the basin is quite low and use to gush out but not any more. Even after leaving it to run for a while the flow coming from the hot tap is still low.
I think the hot water from the bath is ok, but not sure. the rest of the house downstairs is fine.
Any ideas on what the problem might be would be much appreciated.
