Hi.

On my boiler there is a box with a dial. This has a green light around it. It has numbers on it.

What is this for? Is it a pressure release valve that can be adjusted? When I turn it to zero, it flashes and water flows somewhere? Lol.

It was set at 2. It also turns clockwise to certain numbers too.

Thanks.

What type, make, model etc is your boiler/hot water tank??

God knows. I am at work or would have posted a pic. It's a ideal h12 boiler. Not sure about tank.

Hi.

Its the central heating pump. One side of dial is variable speed and other constant with bleed in middle. That was the noise I was hearing. Hope I haven't ****ed it by bleeding it.

Thanks.
