My Daughter has an oil-fired Worcester boiler (big free standing job) for heating and water. There is no hot water storage, so I assume the oil version of a combi. They've been moved in a few months.
What's happening... when filling a bath, the water runs hot for a few mins after flushing the cold water outta the pipes, and it's a good temp. After a while- let's say 2" deep, it goes lukewarm. I witnessed this myself after a long day of slaving for her in the house. My response was to close the tap some, and reduce the rate of flow, and the heat came back for a while. Repeat and fill...
She also reports the shower does the same, though they didn't do what I did, bbit uncomfy in a shower.
Any ideas of whatt it might be; or what might remedy it? I have a gas combi and no such problems. Ta.
