I'm keeping an eye on a mates flat (maintenance wise) whilst he is travelling.

The folks renting the flat phoned to say the boiler had locked therefore no heating and no hot water.

My mate has a cover policy with BG to cover the boiler and they came and sorted it (I think it was a problem with Gas pressure). Boiler back up and running.

Now the rental folks have phoned to say there is hot water at the bath and kitchen sink but not the shower or the bathroom sink. Previously there was hot water to all.

Any ideas?

Sorry Swidders I should have been clearer.

They say the water is flowing fine but is luke warm at best. At the other taps it's hot as it should be.

Are the taps on these different (mixer etc...?)

What sort of system are we looking at? - do the shower and basin run via a pump?

Good point, I'm not 100% sure, but shower is a mixer and sink is individual taps.

All hot water run straight from boiler, no external pumps.
