Hotpoint aquarius 129PL Power problems - not lights no power

Our machine has stopped workign, nothing happens when i press the power button, check fuse and socket and all ok.

it is in an outside room and it is prone to being a little damp, is there away to find out what electrical issue it could be?

Check the mains surpressor then the pcb at the back in the corner. Look for burn / scorch marks on the pcb.
