Hi just wondering if any one can help

i have a Hotpoint Aquarius Condenser Dryer and it is not filling up with waste water correctly and the cloths are taking longer to dry

is this a common problem and is this a easy fix

Hose out the condenser at the bottom then clear the muck out of the pump found at the rear , then blow down black tube, is the pump running ?

Thanks i have cleaned out the condenser

is this a easy job to clean out the pump and i am sure it is running as i can feel air blowing when i pull out the water container
