Hotpoint Aquarius wt540 problem can anyone help

I have a 4-5 year old Wt540 7kg washing machine, that worked perfectly fine until i turned it off at the plug and mains for a day whilst they done water mains repairs on my estate.

Now whenever i turn it on, after a few seconds the on/off button, rinse hold and mini load rapidly flash and the machine seems to be pumping out water.

I have undone and cleaned out the white cap at the front bottom right of the machine and turned everything off and on again (Electric and water) serveral times but no good it still has the same recuring problem.

Does anyone have any ideas why this would suddenly start happening, or what else i can do to fix it?
