Hotpoint CTD00 Tumble Dryer Problem

I am having problems just now with the dryer ...... it's drying the clothes ok but the water tank is not filling up with water as usual. No water leaking from machine but there's a "damp" smell when it's on. What do you recommend?

first remove condennser and hose it though then at the back bottom left is a pump ,blow though the top pipe to clear any muck ,if that dont cure it pump needs to come apart to clear

Thanks - I have removed the condenser and there was a pool of water at the bottom right of machine. Have checked the pipes and got rid of the water - will try it now to see if that's done the trick.
