Hotpoint dryer door catch broken

Hi all,

I have a Hotpoint Tumble Dryer Aquarius - VTD00.

I just went to open the door and the door latch has broken so I cant open it now.
There are no clothes in, I was going to use it this morning.

I have taken off the lid of the dryer hoping to gain access - but I cant seem to see how I can open it manually from the inside.

I was hoping that one of you can help me open the door - as I am assuming once open, it will be relatively easy to fix a new latch?

Please help - so it doesnt cost me a fortune to call someone out!!!
