I've got a Hotpoint Aquarius 1200 Washer Dryer WD62. The problem is that when I put it onto the drying mode it doesn't dry the clothes. If anything they seem wetter (although the clothes are quite warm when I open the door). Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

sounds like filte is partialy blocked.
it does use cold water in the drying ,it sounds like this is not being pumped away fas enough, hence blocked filter.
the filter is attached between the pump and the outer drum.

unplug m/c, turn off water remove pipes carefully put m/c on its back. look underneath

Also check the fan which sits in the top of the machine. The washer driers have a big back panel held on with unpteen screws. If you get this off you will see the bottom hose that runs from the drum to the pump. This incorporates a plastic cage that catches stray coins, socks etc.
